Character Bio

Galaxy Girl was Vicki Smith's inspiration to become a nurse. Vicki was inspired by her sacrifice during the great Rikti invasion. Galaxy Girl used her last bit of strength to save her friend, Ms. Liberty, instead of healing herself. This selfless act caused Vicki to pursue a career in medicine.

Then one day, a Rikti strike force attacked the Hero Corps Headquaters. Victims of the attack were being sent to Chiron Medical Center where Vicki tended to the injured that day. Among the injured was one particular hero, a gadgeteer, who took notice of Nurse Smith's efforts. The gadgeteer saw true heroism in Vicki and offered her an opportunity to become a superhero. That day would forever change her life.

Vicki couldn't refuse the gadgeteer's offer, and became a superpowered healer. Now equipped with electro-stun and life saving devices, Vicki is better known as Vital Sign who honors Galaxy Girl's legacy to save others.
