Character Bio

It was 1500A.D. and I was in the middle of combat on the battlefield when, out of nowhere, a wizard appeared next to me.  He told me that this was not my place and time to die and that I was destined for greater things. This confused me and I had told him so. He laughed and said "you will understand soon enough" and started chanting something strange. The next thing I remember is waking up in a bed in a room full of magic lights. I found out later that these lights were not magic, they ran on electricity and the building I was in was called a Hospital. There was a guy sitting on the other side of the room. "Good Morning", he said. "I was hoping that you could tell me how you ended up an alley." What language was this? He must have noticed the confusion in my face so I tried to tell him that I didn't understand. He smiled and said in Japanese "Ah you don't speak English. We will fix that. You must hungry, let's go get something to eat. I'll teach you what I know."
