Character Bio

A former police officer, Moonlight Mary was cursed when she and her partner put a stop to a cult that practiced human sacrifice.  The leader of the cult, a gypsy named Esme, was attempting to reach the height of her dark  powers by sacrificing a number of people during the cult's dark rituals.  Angry at Mary for intervening, Esme cursed her heart, turning it partially dark.  Esme's goal was to later use this curse to exercise control over Mary when she attempted to raise another dark army, but Mary's goodness proved too strong and she resists Esme's control to this day.
