Between her love of risk and mutant powers, becoming a stuntwoman was a dream come true. As her career advanced, she became one of the most sought after stuntwoman around. Which brought her to a remote South American village during a shoot. While performing a stunt over 200' valley, something went wrong with the safety equipment and she fell into the river below. Search parties were sent to find her, but the river carried her unconscious body to a hidden village in the jungle. While recovering in the village, she learned they are a lost amazonian tribe who protects the world from an ancient evil. Having recently lost their current champion, they asked Pamela to replace her. Granting her the "Bands of the Jaguar", she returns to the world to fight evil in its many forms
