Character Bio

Edgar the Magnificent, an entertainer who specialized in doing magic tricks at night clubs, private parties, and personal requests, was doing his show one night for a five-year-old girl's birthday party, when a Resistance cell attacked the girl's father, a minor functionary in the Ministry of Information. Edgar reacted instinctively to shield the girl with his own body, and was struck by magical energies that combined with his own latent talent to awaken within him the ability to control plants, and to call forth thorns from his own body. His disgust at the actions of the Resistance led him to immediately volunteer his abilities at the Powers Division, in the hope that he might be able to avenge the little girl, who died despite his attempt to shield her.
