Character Bio

Janus Legion was a swordsman, wielding his katana with deadly skill and gifted with the powers of invulnerability. Though mercanary and a loner by nature, he allowed himself to be drawn into the Twilight's Storm by the former Dreadmaster Riptde. On a mission to the sewers under Paragon he encoutered a being known as a Dark Nova working with some Vahzilok to blow up the foundation of the power grid for Paragon's Hospital teleport system. The two of them struggled savagely, and Janus failed to disarm half the bombs. Though the foundation remained intact, Janus and the Nictus were buried under the rubble and hopelessely trapped. As they lay dying, the Nictus revealed its fear of death, the very fear that drove it to become a Nictus in the first place. A bargain they struck... that the Kheldian would reform and join the ranks of the Warshades, and that Janus would serve as its host. Their Dark bargain struck, the combined being had sufficient strength to escape from the rubble. A new Warshade was born.
