Character Bio

Akane Takahashi was an ordinary middle school girl, who enjoyed video games, movies, talking about boys, and tinkering with her pet robots. It was that last hobby that apparently brought her to the attention of some genius in the Powers Division, who decided that what Nova Praetoria needed was a schoolgirl heroine, totally anonymous, whose very anonymity would show that Praetoria rose above all else, even identity, in the truly faithful. The genius didn't count on Akane's reaction to having her head shaved, then stuffed into a uniform that wiped out every aspect of her identity, and being sent out to become a teenage heroine.

Once she had killed everyone in that project with her "cute" pet robot, Akane discovered that in order to complete the eradication of her identity, her family had also been eradicated. With nothing to live for, she used what was left of the project to fashion herself a red skull, and went out to take her revenge on Praetoria.
