Character Bio

Frost Sparrow, aka Katie Miller, was an ordinary college student who had always had a hobby of studying weather patterns. She was going to be a meteorologist until the winter of her sophomore year when a ski trip went wrong. She and several others were trapped in an avalanche for nearly a day before rescuers dug them out. The team expected them all to be dead by then but Katie wasn't though her hair had turned white. She woke up from a coma six weeks later with everyone calling it a miracle. But that wasn't the end. A freak snowstorm hit the town and the police couldn't reach a van that was trapped in a ditch to rescue the family that was inside. A friend in the dorm heard it on his police scanner. Katie felt an undeniable urge to be out in that storm. When she got outside and felt the snow on her face, her powers took over and she transformed. Now much smaller and with wings, she flew to the aid of the trapped people. The next day she left college and became Frost Sparrow.
