Soon, magical energies saturated her very being. She found that she could sense it and began to learn from the Carnies as they tortured her. The day she was transformed into a cat was a turning point in her life. You see, her body had been so corrupted by the Carnies' black magic that when she was turned back into a woman, the spell didn't quite break. Half cat, half woman, she realized she had to escape or be forever distorted by their sorcery. Using their own magic against them, she was able to confuse her jailers long enough to run free.
