As a former Miss New Hampshire pageant winner, Lucinda Costa was asked to do advertising spots for RendeTech Corp. Eventually, they went belly-up in the "dot-bomb" bust, and part of their payroll obligation to her was met in experimental equipment. She's taken up heroing as a result, though she's still getting used to how this stuff works -- there were no manuals....
