Character Bio

A vulcanologist from the Pacific Northwest, Helen Swann was doing research in
Hawaii when she -- and her highly experimental scientific apparatus -- tumbled
into the volcano she was studying. Weeks later she emerged, changed. The
apparatus had melded with her, giving her the power to work with the magma
instead of being consumed by it.

She wasn't happy about this. How would *you* like to wake up one morning,
twice your previous size, covered in magma, in the heart of a volcano?
