Once the Lead Research and Development Officer in Abendroth Industries, everything changed with the company's heiress Valentina Abendroth died in a terrorist attack.

With the fall of Abendroth, Benedict took his research and company military contracts to form his own company, Stahl Industries, and in time new contracts in other fields founded the international Stahl Enterprises, providing technology and aid to Hamidon-torn areas.

The Syndicate had been known to him for quite some time and when their machinations intefered with his own dealings, Benedict stoked the fire of their wrath by revealing members to the Ministry of Information.

The assassins hunted Benedict within the confines of his most secluded laboratory where they found themselves overwhelmed by STAHLWERK, automatons mass-produced to protect his company and vision.

Stahl then went about teaching his enemies humility and absorbed one of the Mega-Corps in a literal hostile takeover ending with sharp crack of electricity from his own hand.
