Once a powerful psychic, Phoebe wielded her power with assurance and mercy -- until the day she confronted the villain Ghost Widow in a head-on battle. Ghost Widow ripped her defenses to shreds with merciless ease, cauterizing Phoebe's mind. Crippled, crushed, and far distant from home, Phoebe assumed a new name and took a new vow -- to return empty cruelty with heartless revenge. Though her powers grow but slowly, the Ghostcat soldiers on in the name of hatred.
