Character Bio

After completing her thesis on how superhumans used physics with their powers, Kaori slept and found herself in a snowy land. There, a striped tan cat named Kobu told her that the snow princess, Winter Dreams, had been kidnapped by The Gloom King. Perching upon her shoulder, the cat whispered to Kaori of her own abilities of ice and cold.

On her way to Gloom's Peak, she encountered the Sisters of Sunrise, learned from a living iceman, and befriended a suicidal firebird and an electric cowgirl.

During her climatic battle with The Gloom King, Kaori remembered her thesis and was able to shift the battle to her favor. Winter Dreams was grateful and awarded Kaori with a servant of ice.

When Kaori awoke, she found she could still control ice and cold. After receiving her PhD, she decided to teach at the new university at Paragon City. While moving into her new apartment, a striped tan cat appeared at her doorstep which she took in and named, of course, Kobu.
