After another incident at the Terra Volta reactor, Tyger teleported out and ended up crashing in the desert a few days later. He manifested powers of quantumn energy manipulation, creating a glass crater where he fell.

Empowered with 'light' energies he fights against the anti-Kheldian hunters, feeling their plight more due to his altered nature.
