Character Bio

His name was Captain Stephan Rechs, when he died.

He served the Paragon 117th precinct, attached to Founders' Falls, with distinction for the last ten years. During his meteoric career, he swiftly demonstrated to heroes and villains alike that it doesn't take heat beams or the ability to summon demons to fight crime: All it takes is steadfast determination, careful and abiding respect for the law, and a heart to guard you from temptation.

And then his enemies killed him. Such nobility could not be tolerated by the crime syndicates. And yet, for Stephan, this was not the end.

He awoke in this body - a cybernetic vessel for his memories, his intellect, his will - a little over a year after his death. This body was crafted by Crey Industries, as an interim step for their "Revenant Hero" project. He could never go back, they made sure of it. Stephan was dead.
