Character Bio

Dr. Gregory Futura was a maverick way ahead of his time. In 1939, extrapolating from some Tesla theories, he breached the dimensional barrier hoping to tap a new source of energy outside our plane of existance. The portal he opened began attracting matter into it, the Doctor included, and he was thrown into the Time Stream. Unprotected he survived there -- for him it was only about 110 seconds. But time moved far faster on Earth. Now he has returned. And his time away has changed him, giving him the ability to affect space, time and dimensions by will alone. He's had to do a lot of catching up, but he is up to the task. With over a half century of changes - he's a lot of work to do...His heroic name IS his name - though few now that he is the same Doctor Futura known back in the late thirties...
