Character Bio

Mandy dreamed of being a hero growing up. Posters of heros crowded her walls, fighting for space amongst the unicorns and fairies in her frilly pink bedroom. When her friends began developing powers, she panicked, afraid she was the only one amonst them that wouldn't become a true hero. So she volunteered to become a test subject, in lab experiments designed to draw out her "true" abilities.
However, afraid one test would not be enough, Mandy volunteered for several, not letting any know of the others, afraid she would be removed from the tests. However, this caused a severe reaction, which landed Mandy in the hospital for several months, with doctors fighting to save her life.
Mandy's dreams of being a super hero seemingly shattered, she was surprised when a Longbow operative approached her with one of her doctors, who informed her that there might be some side effects from the reactions. Mandy, indeed, had become a super hero. Just...not exactly what she wanted to be.
