On a hot and dry day in midwestern Kansas, John Gillert was in the field mowing
Alfalfa. All of a sudden a gust of cold icy wind hit him. When he awoke, John realized that he was blind and that he had the ability to heal and control ice. John ran from the Kansas town of Clay Center and ended up in Paragon City. Now John is known as Iceman Cometh and he takes out his pain on the crime of Paragon City. About one month ago John had eye surgery and a face lift. He thinks he looks better, but what has he to compare it too. Even when the eye surgery was done, John noticed that his eyes felt really dry. When he took off his shades, he noticed white fire emitting from them. He can see good now, but his eyes sure get dry fast and for some reason he can't stay warm!
