driving hack seemed like the kind of job for a retired war vet to pick up a bit of extra cash to help make ends meet. and he got to meet a lot of people - rich folks, going out on the town... tourists, come to see the wonders of Paragon City... and the occasional not-so-pleasant ones as well, when he couldn't avoid them.
like on that fateful night, when his last fare of the night wanted to go to Kings Row, even though it was late enough that most places were already closed down for the night. pulling up at the address given, he peered out his side window at the dark warehouse on the dimly lit street, then reeling back in shock as a crowd of Skulls suddenly surrounded his car.
what happened next is still something of a blur, though he distictly remembers something of a mocking laugh while it seemed the very shadows themselves tossed the Skulls around like rag dolls. the shadows that seemed to flow into the back seat of his cab, commanding him to drive... to leave this place of danger....
