On the night of Violet's birth, the moon turned a strange purple hue. Mystics around the world recognized it as the herald of the birth of a powerful mystic. Immediately many began searching for the child.

Azuria located the small house but knew she had arrived late from the screams that carried out across the night air. She entered to find powerful Circle of Thorns mages standing over the bodies of Violet's parents. She defeated them quickly and secreted away with the crying baby.

Raised in isolation in Croatoa under the watchful eyes of War Witch, Viola grew into a powerful mystic. Under strict instructions not to let her appearance be known she practiced a mastery of illusions, frequently helping the heroes who passed through the Misty Woods.

Reaching the age of eighteen, Violet was summoned to Atlas Park by Azuria. Now she uses her magic in defense of Paragon City and continues her training in the magical arts.
