Getting into the "Family Business", for most young people, calls to mind toiling behind the counter of your dad's dry cleaning store. For Nicholas Chylde, the Family Business is Heroing and no one could be more gung ho about his work. A Junior member of Paragon's famous "Wolfpack" Nicholas, like his cousin Fyre Rose, was born with the ability to channel and manipulate one of the primal forces: Fire. Nicholas, always the reckless one in the family, on his first foray into the superhero world ran afoul of the Tsoo Sorceror Far Fire, who siphoned almost all of Nicholas's life force, nearly ending his career before it had truly begun. While recovering Nicholas discovered that he had somehow absorbed a portion of the Eldritch energies and was now able to absorb Kinetic energy from others, increasing his health, power and speed. Now known as Pyrokinetic 1, Nicholas and his famous cousins protect Paragon City from the forces of evil and try to make their parents, and their neighbors in paragon, proud.
