Character Bio

After realizing his family's dream for him of becoming a doctor, Xian Nguyen became increasingly frustrated with his life. While he wanted to make the world a better place, he did not enjoy his duties at the hospital. He yearned to be true to himself and throw off the shackles of his family's expectations. He began to secretly study the Dark Arts and to explore his secret desires. When his family discovered his magickal studies he confronted them with both him homosexuality and his leather fetish. Intensively conservative and deeply religious, his family denounced him. In retaliation he adopted the superhero identity Doctor Nightfall and took to the streets to fight a very public war against crime and intolerance.
