Character Bio

When Eggburt Datasti was twelve years old, his parents became victims of what the news labeled a "terrorist attack," but what Eggburt knew as the end of his father's long carrer as an FBI informant.  In the night the "terrorists" planted a dirty bomb in his house, killing his parents and giving Eggburt a healthy dose of radiation.

This radiation did not give Eggburt superpowers; it did, however, give him cancer, with which he battled for the next ten years.

At 11:00 p.m. the oncologist stepped into Eggburt's room with a somber look on his face. The doctor told him his girlfriend was coming; although, they both knew what news would eventually follow. But by midnight she still hadn't come, and two the police had called the hospital to tell Eggburt his girlfriend was found dead in her car, victim of a driveby shooting.

That night, Eggburt learned he had one year left to live, and he had a lot to do in it.
