Character Bio

Shauna St. James grew up hating her boring life. Living in Founder's Falls and surrounded by powerful heroes and amazing battles she dreamed of becoming one of them. Her mother and father would chastise her and tell her that a hero's life only seemed glamorous. They seemed only too happy to live a quiet life.

But, on her eleventh birthday she began to sprout tiny wings from each shoulder. Her parents were not overly concerned but at night she could hear them arguing loudly in their bedroom. Finally, they revealed the truth to her.

They were, before her birth, the heroic couple of the Bronze Peregrine and Sister Steel but had abandoned heroics after marriage. They had lived in constant fear of some villian's reprisal on their family.  Now it was impossible to deny that she had inherited her parent's powers.

Delighted, she stole away with her father's mace to become Sister Skye.
