Character Bio

Born into a family of desert nomads, Yasmine entered into the world somewhere deep in the Sahara Desert. Her birth coincided with the setting of the sun, just as temperatures began dropping from extreme heat to extreme cold. Her mother saw this as a powerful omen, a blessing that the child belonged wholly neither to the savage day or the cruel night.

As Yasmine entered puberty she was prepared for an arranged marriage as was their custom. However, when Yasmine met her intended a fat, swarthy trader, she made plans to flee. Her escape forced her to run into the desert alone and her family considered her as good as dead.

But as the days wore on, Yasmine's mutation surged to life. She had the ability to manipulate temperatures in extremes, producing fire or ice. This saved her from the harsh environment.

A traveller, impressed with her courage, brought her here where she decided to crusade for women as Lady Sahara.
