Character Bio

Sir Richard St John Smythe was once the youngest member of Her Majesty's House of Lords. While on a diplomatic visit to the former British consulate in India, Richard was captured by a band of Thugees and was about to be sacrificed to the Goddess Kali. As the sacrificial dagger was plunging towards his heart, Richard caught sight of an amulet around the Thugees neck. Grabbing it he was suddenly transported to the altar of Kali's rival , The God Shiva. To anger Kali and amuse himself, Shiva gifted Richard with the ability to cloud mens minds and create illusions of such power that even death may result from their belief. Now known simply as Vision Caster, Richard fights for Her Majesty and the citizens of Paragon.
