Character Bio

Jon-Pol was raised a pacifist by his parents, but his views on their non-violent lifetyle changed when the Crey Corporation discovered he possessed the F-Positive genotype and turned him into an orphan. Jon-Pol survived only because the group of young superheroes called the Castoffs were pursuing the Crey assassination/abduction team in order to stop them. During the battle, Jon-Pol's mother pulled a dusty copy of Tolstoy's 'War and Peace' from a high shelf but was struck down. The book fell to the floor and opened, revealing a pair of suprisingly high-tech pistols. Knowing she was dead, his rage drove him to pick up the weapons and turn them against her killers. Between Jon-Pol and the Castoffs, none of the assassins escaped justice.
He felt an immediate affinity for the Castoffs, who are themselves all victims of Crey's pursuits. Having nowhere else to turn, he joined them and discovered that they shared the F-Positive genotype, which is another story (AE arc #418229)
