Character Bio

To escape her abusive household, little Jayla would flee to the fields and meadows behind her house. She would cry herself to the sleep on the banks of a deep stream to awake with her bruises miraculously healed.  Ultimately she ran away at young age, only to enter a life of drugs and prostitution.

Returning home after her father's death she found herself again at the stream's edge. Disgusted by her reflection in the stream's purity she waded into it intending to drown herself. But the stream was fed by a magical source.

When she awoke on its banks she was healed of her addictions. She had also been granted healing abilities and an ability to control plantlife. She was encased in an insect armor which eventually cracked open. It fell away to reveal beautiful butterfly wings. Jayla decided to become the hero Butterflyte to heal the world and to help the little lost ones.
