Derek Williams once was human before the facility research center he worked for was sabotaged. Very few survived the explosions that destroyed the facility in Walla Walla, WA.
He was involved in cryogenic research but was chosen to participate in a temporal project. While in flux with time, the explosions occurred. No longer was he really human except for his mind. His body was now transformed into total light energy.
As such a being of quantum energy he travels and lives within the timestream often fighting battles there on planets such as Apollyton within the time dimension.
To his wife and son, he is dead; unable to go back to living the life he once did. Only his best friend knows about his transition.
After becoming pure light, he teleported to Europe where he started an organization to fight evil called FIST (Freedom's International Strike Team). Other details can be found on the website.
