Character Bio

Michael was a Longbow Ballista that was chosen for a very risky undercover mission. He attempted to infiltrate Arachnos by joining Ghost Widow's Fortunata corps. His mission was succeeding beyond expectation until a mole exposed him. Lord Recluse, however, was not without a sense of irony. He tortured Michael for months in an attempt to break the vaunted Longbow conditioning. Long past caring about recovering information, Recluse and Ghost Widow wanted to break Michael, if only to prove that no one was greater than the masters of Arachnos. When he finally did break under duress, Michael was welcomed into the ranks of the Fortunatas, where he was christened "Theridae", taken from the family of spiders that are known as 'false widows'. Recluse now uses Theridae as a cruel joke against his former Longbow compatriots, sending him to destroy the very people that gave him to Arachnos.
