Character Bio

Genny Rasminov was six years old when she was called to the side of her grandmother's deathbed. Her grandmother's shaking hands held her arms with a frightening strength. "Promise me," she said. "Gehenna, promise not to use the dark powers." Frightened the little girl made the promise.

But her grandmother was not the only one who knew of her powers. Recruited as a spy, she traveled as a prima ballerina while working for her government. In time she fell in love with the director of her ballet corps. Together they leapt from a moving train and defected. For a while, they lived happily.

One day  she came home to her lover brutally murdered. She thought it a random burglary until the agents approached her at his funeral. She was too valuable to let go. As her rage overcame her, she surrendered to the darkness. It howled around her, feeding off their souls. When it was over she calmly walked away.

Now she dances her rage and grief in the dark streets of King's Row.
