Character Bio

Born to poor white parents, Kayla never had much chance at a future. To make matter worse she had a wicked temper, a merciless rage, and a latent attunement to the occult.  As she grew older they each in turn abandoned her. Only the love and support of her grandparents enabled her to flourish.

When she turned eighteen she came to visit Paragon City and tour PCU. She had been outside of their apartment in Founder's Falls for only 45 minutes when she was abducted by the Circle of Thorns.  Luckily, her family were secretly superheroes. They interrupted the CoT ceremony and saved Kayla. But she was pissed.

In her first year at PCU she studied books on the occult and trained in the art of the katana. Her latent mystical abilities allowed her to tap the Netherworld's energies for defense. One night she infiltrated the Tsoo and stole a mystic weapon. So began her campaign for vengance.
