Among the Fortunata under Marshal Blitz's leadership, Belial showed the most promise.

But something keeps her power from developing. It is believed before joining the rogue Marshal that Fortunata Seers, ever loyal to Il Recluso, saw her betrayal and placed a lock on her mind.

It was by order of the de facto ruler of Warburg himself that Belial and a small contingent returned to the islands of Arachnos to find a way of unlocking her power by raiding various facilities. A strong believer in her Marshal's approach to matters, Belial instead betrayed her allies to Arachnos to earn favour with the Spiders believing it to be the quickest way to unlocking her power.

Now she goes along with Project: DESTINY knowing full well her own path lies with reclaiming the power taken from her.
