Character Bio

Dismissed so often as a "fat cow in a lab coat", Melinda Dawes devoted her whole life to science. No dates, no prom, and pictures of the science club were her memories of high school. However, Crey Industries saw a discarded jewel. Paying for her college education and an advanced research laboratory, Melinda repaid them with a wealth of advances in gravitic manipulation.

Late one night while working alone, Melinda's lab was attacked by the Clockwork King and his minions. Frantic and desperate to save her own life, Melinda fashioned the technology she was working on into a suit of high tech gravitometric armor. Capable of manipulating gravity itself, the armor allowed her to create protective force fields and fire force bolts. She used it to capture many of the clockwork minions.

Delirious with the empowerment and the attention she received, Melinda kept the secret of the armor for her own. Technology had given her the wings she'd longed for.
