Character Bio

German pilot Erich Hartmann was gunned down over the Russian Front during WWI and held as a Soviet POW for 10 years. It was during that time that he and the daughter of Guard Captain fell in love. She revealed to Erich that she was a practitioner of magic. She began teaching him all about controling the mind and the pure power of storms. After teaching him everything she knew on the subjects they had decided to plan his escape. He knew there were still too many guards for him to use his powers against so they instead dug a tunnel to freedom. Once completed Erich planned to escape under the cover of nightfall and his true love would catch up to him in Germany in 3 months. Unfortunately the guards found Erich's quarters empty just minutes after his departure. Illanna ran to warn him and was shot down by her own father. As her last act of love and magic, her spirit rose and laid across the tunnel exit where men were waiting to shot Erich. When he crawled through her spirit he was transported to present day.
