Character Bio

Cherry Jones has been an orphan since she was small. Born premature, her mother died from a mysterious illness while Cherry was still in the crib. Her father died of malignant cancer only two years later.

Shuffled around the foster care system, she seemed jinxed. Mysterious illnesses and injuries seemed to follow her from foster home to foster home. Only in her teens was it discovered that she was a mutant. Her body absorbs, amplifies, and emits radiation.

She was sent to G.I.F.T. and raised in an isolation unit. After years of being cared for by technicians in radiation suits, researched developed power bracelets which monitored her body's stored radiation and controlled the levels she emitted.

The bracelets allowed Cherry to control her radiation powers and channel her power as blasts. She now repays the city for years of care by patrolling the streets as Cherry B0MB. More and more often her radiation levels are overloading the bracelets, forcing Cherry to wear an armored suit.
