Connor Crewley is the son of the retired hero and mechanic "Fix-Man", with whom he runs a repair and pawn shop in Atlas Park.
Born with an irritating skin rash that was hard to keep under control for years, Connor's condition was seemingly healed by way of an accidental fuel spill: only his body metamorphosed into a hard rubber-like substance instead! As a result, he found himself to be unnaturally durable and flexible, with the ability to bound long distances and acquiring taste for consuming motor oil and other fuels.
Combined with the fact he seems to have inherited his father's mechanical aptitude, and you've got one malleable mechanic who can bring the good fight to Paragon City's criminals... one fix at a time!
That is, of course, when he isn't managing the repair shop.
