Shunned, reviled, and considered an embarassing reminder of an unpleasant period of American history, Joe Land found himself unable to reintegrate into society upon his return from three tours in Vietnam. Forced into the ranks of the homeless, cast adrift in the Rogue Isles, Land was gradually indoctrinated into the ranks of the mysterious Lost. They gave a voice to his inner rage, endowed him with the abilities to continue to fight the war he never left behind... and gave him a new enemy- the rest of humankind!!
