Born Jonna D'Angelico, she is the offspring of the infamous conjurer Ramon D'Angelico and one of his favored succubi, S'sirianthe. Such matings were magickally significant, as the joined bloodlines wrote the terms of their compact into her very blood. Ramon would enjoy eternal youth, while S'siranthe would lay claim to his soul should he perish.

And then S'sirianthe killed Ramon, to baptize her child in her father's blood. This child would be raised according to demonic tradition.

A quarter-century later, Jonna has reached demonic maturity. Half demon, half human, walking the thin line between two worlds. She feels the power boiling in her blood. She can call upon her bretheren to rise and serve her. She can flay the flesh from the living with pure hellfire. She knows that she is destined for something. What that is, however, she has no idea.
