Working as a mail room clerk Maggie McCready wanted more in life then working in her crappy job. One day she received a phone call from her mother, she told her that her father had died. Going through her father's things, Maggie stumbled on a large chest. Inside was the costume of the Scion Caliber, realizing that her father was the famous Scion Caliber she knew she had found her calling. Learning how to handle her father Navy Colt's along with finding out her natural ability to lower the temperture around her to her advantage. Taking on the persona of the Scion Caliber and making some alterations to the costume, she quit her job and moved to Paragon City where she could help others.
