Character Bio

On the eve of her 21st birthday, Gena dreamed she was sitting on a fiery throne as scores of demons bowed before her. Wilfred Talbot Smith, an occult scholar, found a prophecy in the Book of Matthias that foretold her ascent (see Deceased: Smith, Wilfred Talbot; Appendix: Book of Matthias). Smith tracked Gena down and gave her a book of ancient grimoire, from which she learned to draw mystical energies from daemonic hosts. The next day, Gena was enveloped in a eldritch cocoon (resembling a giant badger). Two weeks later, she emerged in a burst of flame. Gena took the name of the entity prophecied in the Book of Matthias, Theta Ignigena -- "death born of fire".
