Character Bio

Samuel Bern owned and operated a Natural Foods store in Paragon City for three years. He catered to both heroes and villians, taking no sides in the ongoing battle. In fact, he became friendly with members of both camps. As a result, both sides respected Samuel and left him alone. Until.... Samuel was working late one evening when a wannabe Outcast came into the store to rob him. Locked in a freezer in the back, Samuel was fearful he would freeze to death...but fate intervened... A Rikti raid ensued...and a bomb went off. Samuel saw a blinding flash of light, sudden warmth through the cold that chilled his bones, and when he awoke he was no longer a simple shopkeeper trying to make a living. He is now a ticked off guy (OK, he took time to dress nicely) with a store lease he can't pay. He is no longer Samuel Bern. Now, he's Freezer Bern and he's out for justice....
