Character Bio

Jessica Mullarney had always been interested in magic and reporting and became one of Paragon City's top magic reporters always chasing down the interviews and stories. Then she upset the Circle of Thorns once too often and they took her to punish and make an example of.They decided to cause self-immolation by touching her with a recently acquired, and ill understood, stone of flame. She did ignite, but she was unharmed by the flames. The Circle's minions were not so fortunate. It was at this time that a rescue team arrived.
After she had escaped she rushed to the M.A.G.I. offices to learn what had happened. She discovered that the stone had been used in ages past to punish the guilty and that her own sense of justice combined with her long association with magic allowed her to absorb the stone into herself.
