Character Bio

Stumbling home from a night of drunken fun on his 21st birthday, Randall Cox tripped over a rock on the ground. After noticing that it glittered in the moonlight, he took it home and crawled into bed with it in his hand. The next morning, with his head pounding, he looked at the rock he'd found and saw that it was a beautiful amethyst color. What he didn't know is that the rock was a prison for a Nictus who'd gone rogue and been helping Peacebringers take down its malevolent brethren. After holding it in the sun, shining a light through it, washing it and tapping it on the kitchen counter, Randy took out his old amateur radio and tried zapping the rock with electricity. For some unknown reason, the stone split in two, releasing K'ztlpl, who was trapped inside. It telepathically communicated its plight to Randy, telling him it would never make it home alive, and that there were more Nictus on Earth. Randy and K'ztlpl decided to join as one, so they could help stop the evil.
