Character Bio

Matt Branson's father was a professor of literary archeology. He brought home an old scroll one day, and his pregnant wife picked it up. Something sharp on the casing pricked her finger, and a drop of blood hit the scroll. There was a flash of light, and ringing in her ears, and then she could hear her infant son's thoughts. After he was born, it turned out that Matt was broadcasting his thoughts, not his mother reading them. Just that one tiny twist of fate, and a fledgling hero was born.
