The grandson of the first western Sorcerer Supreme of this dimension, Selwyn (who's name is old english for 'friend at court') aspires to one day succeed his grandfather.
As young master of the mystic arts he is the acting force behind his aged teacher and grandfather who currently uses the name 'Ancient One'. It was from him that he learned how to summon the Shield of the Seraphim and the awesome energies of the eternal Vishanti.
