Character Bio

Ariana Jasper was a graduate student working at the university in Paragon assisting in developing techiques to train and amplify the powers of heroes with Kinetic and Sonic based abilities.
One evening while working late on a piece of experimental equipment in her lab a group of Hellions broke in and started wreaking havok. During the altercation she was thrown into her device which triggered when she hit the subject bed and promptly exploded.
She awoke in the hospital's superhuman treatment ward. When she started to explain that she didn't have any powers she was informed that she did now, as well as naturally blue hair. She was encouraged to become a hero so that she could provide better feedback than the haphazzard data they had been collecting by her supervisor.
After developing a costume with telemetric sensors (no one knows where she got the goggles) she was sent to register as the new hero SonicSpeed.
She has come to love both her roles as a hero and researcher. (played by a G.I.R.L.)
