Character Bio

Polly was a nurse, volunteering to join with other doctors and nurses to take aid to impoverished countries, bringing medical care and hope where there was none to be had. She continued this way for her first year after medical school, thrilled with her work and that she was making a difference.
Then came the warlords.
It didn't matter what they were fighting for - Polly thought the ones fighting for power and money were more honest than the ones who wrapped themselves in their "holy word" or "ideals." It didn't matter, though, when they came by as they always did. Some just wiped out villages. Some killed any the "westerners" had helped. And then they caught her and her group...
After somehow escaping the torture her captors put her through, she vowed never to be so helpless - or naiive - again. She built a set of robots - far more trustworthy than people - to defend her and to take what SHE wanted. Sure, she would help, still - but on her terms, and for her price.
She became Polly Trauma.
