Little differences become apparent when people look across dimensions...
The Mew Mystics were the du'Lin's version of the Mu, but without the genocidal war of Primal Earth. The Goddess was weaker, and they found their own ways of magic after the first few steps were taught them.
They branched out, protecting and nurturing other magic users not tied to them, watching as the du'Lin achieved dominance on their world.
When the call went out from Duskvolt to leave their home, spread to other worlds and dimensions to find help against the invaders and preserve their specieds, the mew mystics rallied. Thousands died protecting the departure nodes. Others, specially chosen, went to the stars.
Here on Primal Earth, they work to protect their charges as well as the natives - and try to weave magics to appear like the native life, to help blend in.
